The BootDoctors Inc is a small family
owned and operated company with five stores.
BootDoctors owns Paragon Outdoor Experience and Further Adventures
as well as Dr. B’s Snowboard shop and B-Tuned tune shop.
The original BootDoctors store is in Taos Ski Valley, NM. The other
four stores are in Telluride, CO and the adjacent town of Mountain
Village, CO.
Generally our employees tend to be true outdoor professionals who
want to make a career in the industry. They really love the mountain
lifestyle and are attracted to being in the mountains. While some
may arrive looking for one season in our beautiful mountain environment,
many stay and build lives for themselves.
We expect our employees to have enthusiasm for outdoor activities,
products and services that they can translate into sales and service.

Taos Ski Valley BootDoctors
The flagship store in Taos Ski Valley is a classic slope side ski
shop in winter with high quality products and services. In summer
they are one of the areas best sources for hiking shoes, outdoor
gear, travel clothing and sportswear. This store has won multiple
awards and recognition in the industry. The Taos store employs master
bootfitters, sales associates, demo rental technicians, and ski
and snowboard tuning technicians. Although there is not a lot of
staff turnover, positions are available from time to time. For information

Telluride stores
In Telluride, CO area we have three year-round outdoor retail and
rental shops as well as in winter we have an ice skate rental shop
and rink.
In Telluride we have many seasonal full time positions. We have
very few part-time positions. We try, whenever possible, to offer
our employees opportunities to move from winter seasonal jobs into
summer seasonal jobs. Flexibility in cross training and working
more than one position is an attribute in this company. Business
fluctuation and variations due to seasonality of a resort outdoor
industry demand variation in jobs.
Our biggest store is in the Mountain
Village, sister town to Telluride,
where in winter we offer world class boot fitting, ski and snowboard
rentals and retail, a wide selection of clothing and accessories
as well as full tuning facilities. In summer we offer outdoor guided
adventures including white water rafting, fly fishing, mountain
biking tours and guided hiking. The product mix is complex, interesting
and demanding.
Our Oak street store
in the town of Telluride is a premiere ski and snowboard rental
shop and a top quality bike rental shop as well as a fully stocked
fly fishing shop.
Our Telluride Main street
store is the area’s longest running and most respected bike
shop and bike repair shop in summer. It is a source of quality travel
wear, camping gear and climbing gear as well. In winter this popular
location features snow clothing, travel wear, shoes, accessories
and Nordic gear.
Our ski and snowboard tune
shop has top-of-the-line machines
and a very professional staff.
Applications are accepted all year for jobs. Generally Fall/Winter
job applications are reviewed in August and September for November
hire. Summer applications are reviewed in February/March for May
hire.

We have some year-round positions that are available occasionally
in departments such as such as merchandising, office management,
warehouse, softgoods or hardgoods buying, operations management,
marketing. Generally we have little turn over.
